The Rough Macrame Necklace is made to fit the natural shape of the stone. I use the edges and roughness to fit the stone in a pouch, uniquely designed for the stone.

These stones are naturally shaped, rough and have usually not been polished at all, or only polished a little bit.

The Macrame Lace Wrap Necklace
is made to show the most of the stones surface and wraps it around the edges of the stone to hold it in place.

These stones can be polished, rough, oval, drop shaped or irregularly shaped, whichever you prefer.

Instructions:

1. Pick a crystal, gemstone or fossil in Crystals & Gemstones,
name and size found as you click on the specimen you like

2. Pick a style of macrame for that specimen in Custom Orders,
some specimens are available for several styles.
Also chose what kind of macrame knotting you'd like,
flat, spiral, beaded or non-beaded

3. Chose your thread in Threads,
option of a skinnier natural hemp thread in different natural tones,
or a thicker cotton thread, in various colours soon displayed under Threads

4. Then chose beads if you want any in Beads,
only available for macrame necklaces,
names and sizes are found as you click on the beads you like,
please see different options of beadwork under pages Mission & Craft & Custom Order & Design
