Back to the roots..

19/7/2016

Am now back in the forests in Sweden where I lived as a teenager. Getting back to my roots has been a breath of fresh air. Love and connections kept me on the Southern Hemisphere for almost five years of my life. Five years of really important and expansive personal growth and spiritual development, that I would not trade for anything in this world. I am forever grateful for all the experiences, challenges, mistakes, new friendships, soul mates, love connections and all of the dancing on Australian ground that got me to become who I am today.

Today, I am me, in the I am.. I believe I can do anything that I set my mind to. So here starts the next chapter of my life. Coming back home to Sweden, Europe, has really been eye opening to my personality and why I am the way I am. Sensing back to my roots, and feeling the Nomadic Viking blood in my body, I can not help but want to head out and explore new places, however, I always have the strong wanting to come back to my family with the treasures I have found, and share them with those I love.

Thus now it is time for me to share this new found wisdom and knowledge from Australia, the Aboriginals and all the Spiritually enlightened people that I have come across. Staying grounded and centered in a world of chaos is essential for survival, thus remaining close to the forest, nature and silence is of much importance for me at the moment. The life of a healer, carer and nurturer can be hard at times, and so I have chosen to stay in this place for the time being, to continue developing my skills in Swedish massage, Western and Eastern Herbalism, Japanese Reiki and Energy Healing as well as Older crafts such as Smithing and Pottery as well as Permaculture to live the life I dream of.

One stepping stone at a time, and sometimes you have you take a few steps back, to recapture the important moments, remember to stay in the present, and live every day to its fullest!

Follow your bliss, stay true to yourself and always speak your truth with honesty.

Namaste

A Nomads Tale

I used to sit in my bedroom window, and stare out into the void, and dream of being someone else, someone better, someone for you. Until one day I realised, I had to be myself, in order to be better and someone for me.

It's now been 4.5 years since I decided to follow you intuition and leave everything behind. With little or no expectation of what I would find, I packed my bag and left my home, my everything. That I would find the most important piece of myself, on the other side of the world, I could never had guessed.

Follow your bliss, it can take you places you never even dreamed off.
Dream big, there's always a piece of the puzzle waiting to be found.
Take risks, for life is too short and fragile to waste it wishing for more.
Be grateful, of what you do have, for life is precious.
Be happy, for nothing else matters more than your happiness.

Chakra Healing of 2016

6/1/2016

This year of 2016  I have decided to work on a deeper spiritual level and work from the base to the crown through all 12 Chakras, one per month of the coming year. Starting with the first Chakra, The Root Chakra, followed by Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, Crown, and the additional chakras Omega, Alpha, Terra, and Angelic.

This will reflect in my crafts and creative energy and will be getting deep into each Chakra and connecting elements.

Please sign up for my email list for monthly updates in 2016 of anything related to each Chakra that I come across and will be sharing at end of each month. Send me a message via Naturally Enigmas Facebook page or email naturallyenigma@gmail.com to sign up for Naturally Enigmas monthly news letter, including

~ Tips of DIY recipes for Natural Health Products and Cosmetics working from the feet up to the top of the head in alignment of the Chakra positions.
~ Crystal and gemstones for each specific Chakra and how to work with them and use attuned crystals for different purposes.
~ Gardening tips and healing herbs for natural healing remedies.

And of course news of Naturally Enigma products!

Picture
Starting with the first Chakra. The Root Chakra or Base Chakra
In January I plan to work a lot with my physical body, vitality and do lots of grounding work. For me, this means lots of physical exercise, meditation, gardening, strengthening of my core and back with yoga and of course expressing the related colours of the Root Chakra..

The colour of the Root Chakra is Red, and secondary colour is black. So prepare to see lots of Red & Black for the next few weeks.

When you work with different chakras you may also focus on your diet, and for this month, I am increasing Redness into mine. This includes food such as tomatoes, red capsicum, strawberries, raspberries and red silver beet etc. I will also be drinking more hibiscus tea and raspberry leaf tea. The possibilities to include your every day life missions into your Chakra Healing is endless..

I will be working with associated and responsive crystals and gemstones with the Root Chakra which includes stones such as Smoky Quartz, Black Tourmaline, Garnet, Red Jasper, Obsidian, Brecciated Jasper, Mookaite Jasper, Red Agate and many others.

If you have any requests for a custom order necklace for the root chakra, this would be the perfect time for it as my energy will be completely in synch with the requested order as I am working.

Sustainability Revolution

Am having some great ideas how to get a whole community to come together and share knowledge and ideas about how to live more sustainable.

It can be about where to buy your weekly groceries for less plastic and packaged materials (buy bulk!) and how to make it yourself instead from scratch materials.. So many ways we can improve our households and workplaces by simply spending a little more thought on our resources and waste.. etc.

Having discusses a webpage kind of forum for entrepreneurs in eco friendly and sustainable production work etc. recently with my close friend Luciano, and planning a new sustainability magazine for smaller and larger communities to come together and share knowledge and wisdom, it all seems to be coming together like I saw it.

The next step will be to gather people with the same mission in life, to live simply, laugh often and love deeply. If you are one of those people with a great love for sustainability, permaculture, eco friendly production, awareness and consciousness creative art and handicrafts, or anything else that will promote the general health of our beloved home planet and its inhabitants, don't hesitate to contact us about any ideas you might have, small or large doesn't matter.

We'll be working towards a new community webpage and a new sustainability magazine.. This is a long process of development, but I believe that with everyones help and support, we'll be up and running in no time!

In a future setting, I see a lot of people getting involved, in getting pieces of land off grid, and opening up a circle movement of healing the land and the people..

So, if you are interested in joining this sustainability revolution,
please contact naturallyenigma@gmail.com or via phone number +61426727054.

It is also rich in other minerals such as potassium, calcium, manganese, copper and magnesium. Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids, which helps control heart rate and blood pressure. Manganese is used by the body as a co-factor for the antioxidant enzyme, “superoxide dismutase”.

However I am careful of Chamomile these days, as last time I drank it I slept for over ten hours and was struggling to wake up. Overly sensitive is my name! Who needs sleeping pills when you have herbs! smile emoticon

Today I spent the morning harvesting some Lavender, Rosemary and Calendula to dry and then make herbal infused oils to add to soaps, shampoos, lotions, body butters and also to add to my medicinal cabinet for direct application on external wounds and burns as all three have anti-inflammatory and anti-septic properties that are great in healing salves and ointments.

Picture
"Calendula officinalis", otherwise called Pot Marigold, is a bright yellow-orange flower that is naturally healing substance due to the presence of essential oils, saponins, flavonoids and alkaloids. These compound have been shown to promote healing. Calendula ointment is great to treat minor burns, bruises, insect bites, rashes, other irritations and inflammations.

Homeopathic preparations of the flower has been used for generations to speed the healing process and it is one of the most popular homeopathic medicine worldwide and is vital to have in your first aid kit, travel kit and in all kinds of nurseries including animal hospitals as it is great for not just humans but also animals like dogs and horses.

Lavender, “Lavandula” is from the family Lamiceae. The common English Lavender, “Lavendula angustifolia” or formerly known as “L. officinalis”, flourish best in dry, well-drained, sandy or gravelly soils in full sun. All types of lavender require little or no fertilizer and are therefor very easy to grow due to little or no care but watering.

Essential oils from lavender flowers and antiseptic and anti-inflammatory due to the chemical compounds of the plant. These oils are used for fragrance and healing properties in balms, salves and topical applications.

Infusions with lavender are believed to soothe insect bites, burns and headaches as well as other inflammations. Lavender oil or extract may be used to treat acne when diluted 1:10 with water, rosewater or witch hazel.

Lavender oil has a high percentage of linalool and linalyl acetate which have shown to alleviate anxiety and related sleep disturbances. Dried flowerbunches and seeds in pillows aids sleep and relaxation, while an infusion of flowerheads added to a cup of hot water is used to soothe and relax at bedtime.

Lavender as well as Rosemary are known to be insect repellant and can be hung in bunches or applied topically as a tincture or herbal infused oil.

Precautions must be taken while pregnant, as the National Institute of Health (NIH) states that lavender is considered likely safe in food amounts and possibly safe in medical amounts but NIH does NOT recommend the use of lavender while pregnant.

Rosemary, “Rosmarinus officinalis”, is also from the Lamiaceae family. Rosemary is a good source of iron, calcium and vitamin B6 as well as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Rosemary is thought to help boost immune system and also improve blood circulation. Antioxidants play an important role in neutralising harmful particles called free radicals.

University Course

The medicalisation process, meaning the process of which when a social issue or problem that is non-medical becomes medical. This has been taken up my days lately as a summer uni course. Hence the lack of updates.

It has gotten my mindset deeper into why I decided to start learning about natural healing and herbal treatments. As I learned about the history of psychiatric care in Sweden, and Europe, up until today, I am happy that the knowledge of how to care has changed from lobotomy. However, the major increase in psychopharmacological medications since the 1950s is what scares me the most, with minimal knowledge of the effects and side effects of these drugs they were and still are prescribed without hesitation.

My mission in life is to create a Natural Farmacy of herbal treatments, recipies for nutritious healthy food and toxin free natural skin products like soaps, body butters and healing ointments.

Watch this page for new products! And contact me if you'd like a free sample!
